About Us
KANUPRIYA FOUNDATION is a registered non-profit organization based in Hisar, Haryana, dedicated to uplifting lives and creating sustainable change through impactful community service and humanitarian initiatives. Established in May 2023 under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012, our foundation is built on the core belief that true progress comes from collective well-being.
Our mission is to empower communities by addressing some of the most pressing social, environmental, and humanitarian challenges of our time. Through a variety of outreach and service programs, we work tirelessly to support those in need and foster a more compassionate and inclusive society.
Our Key Initiatives
At KANUPRIYA FOUNDATION, we believe in action-driven change. Our programs are designed to address critical social, environmental, and humanitarian needs in both rural and urban communities. Each initiative is a step toward a better, kinder, and more equitable world.
food distribution
Hunger remains one of the most pressing challenges in underserved areas. We organize regular food distribution drives to ensure that no one sleeps hungry. From slums and shelters to disaster-affected regions, our volunteers distribute freshly prepared meals, dry ration kits, and nutritional support to individuals and families in need. Special drives are conducted during festivals, winters, and crisis periods to maximize outreach.
cows shelter
We are deeply committed to animal protection, especially in preserving and caring for cows—a symbol of cultural and ecological importance in India. Our Gaushala (cow shelter) initiative provides stray, abandoned, or injured cows with a safe haven where they receive proper nutrition, medical care, and shelter. We promote ethical treatment, cow adoption, and awareness about sustainable dairy practices.
ANIMAL WELFARE
In addition to our cow shelter, we extend care to other animals including injured street dogs, birds, and other stray animals. We work with veterinarians and rescue teams to ensure timely treatment, vaccinations, and rehabilitation. Our foundation also advocates for kindness toward animals through awareness events, school programs, and partnerships with animal rights groups.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
We believe that protecting the planet is a shared responsibility. Our environment initiatives include large-scale tree plantation drives, plastic-free awareness campaigns, water conservation workshops, and clean-up drives in public spaces. We engage schools, colleges, and local communities to take ownership of their surroundings and embrace sustainable lifestyles.
AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
Access to basic healthcare remains a distant dream for many in rural and semi-urban regions. We bridge this gap through free medical camps, health check-up drives, and mobile clinics. Our team of doctors and volunteers offers general consultations, medicines, hygiene awareness, and specialist referrals where needed. We also support health-focused campaigns on women’s health, child nutrition, and preventive care.
Samuhik Vivah
Marriage is a sacred institution, but for many low-income families, the financial burden is overwhelming. Through our Samuhik Vivah (Mass Marriage) program, we organize collective wedding ceremonies that provide all necessary arrangements—venue, clothing, food, rituals, and gifts—at no cost to the bride and groom. These events promote social harmony, reduce dowry pressure, and support inter-caste and inter-community unity while upholding traditions with dignity.
Relief Work
Whether it’s a natural calamity, pandemic, or socio-economic crisis, our foundation responds with agility and empathy. We mobilize resources and volunteers to provide essentials like food, water, shelter materials, medicines, and hygiene kits. Our rapid-response teams collaborate with local authorities to ensure timely and effective relief for affected communities.
